Wren Clair is an American meteorologist at 5 Eyewitness News located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Wren has a vast education; In addition to her Bachelor of Science in Operational and Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University, Wren has degrees in chemistry and anthropology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

She is also a member of the American Meteorological Society.^[0]

Wren began her career in Broadcast Meteorology in Wisconsin.She worked and lived in Rhinelander, Wisconsin where she forecasted during a handful of snow storms, and also frequently covered lake effect snow off of Lake Superior.Wren left "America's Dairyland" for Boston, where she covered about a dozen Nor'easters throughout her time in New England.A few coverage events included Boston's February 2017 Blizzard, and historic flooding from the "bomb cyclone" January 4th of 2018.

In her free time, Wren enjoys visiting schools and chatting about weather and science.Wren's ecstatic to be back home in the Twin Cities, where she loves to trail run, bike, and cross country ski in the winter.She also loves watching baseball, hockey and winter sports in general.Wren is excited to again access the art scene in the Twin Cities.When she can find some extra time, Wren draws, paints and does pottery.Wren is excited to be back in the Twin Cities with her husband Adam, and their cat Charlie.The pair wed in October of 2018.^[0]
