William "Billy" Eugene Boyette (1973 - February 7, 2017) was an American Serial Killer who resided in Pensacola, Florida. He murdered 4 women during a killing spree in February, 2017. The spree ended with Boyette's suicide during a standoff with police. Preceding the rampage, Boyette had a lengthy criminal record dating back to the 1990's.
Killings
On February 5, 2017, William was the subject of a manhunt out of the state of Florida. [1] He was accused of killing 4 women, Alicia Greer and Jacqueline Moore in Milton, Florida, Kayla Crocker in Pensacola, Florida, and Peggy Broz in Lillian, Alabama. [1]
He was on the run and considered to be armed and dangerous.
He was in the company of Mary Craig Rice, for whom a capital murder warrant was also issued
Investigation
A reward of up to $21,000 was being offered for any information leading to the capture and arrest of William.
He is believed to be traveling by foot or car.
They were last seen traveling on I-10 into Baldwin County, Alabama. [1]
Death
On February 7, 2017, William died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an act of suicide during a standoff at a motel with police in West Point, Georgia.
Mary Craig Rice turned herself in to authorities.
