Wesley Blackburn was a youth Pastor of Faith Brethren Bible Church. Blackburn is married and has five children.

Wesley admitted to having a sexual relationship and impregnating a 15-year-old girl. Blackburn, who also served as a Sunday school teacher, had met the girl during his first year at the church in 2009, according to the court documents. She had been in his youth group for seventh and eighth graders since 2014, the documents showed. Wesley tried to cover-up the fact that he impregnated her and asked his wife for forgiveness ^[1]

Blackburn faces 84 felony counts of statutory sexual assault, 84 misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and one felony count of corruption of minors.

He remained incarcerated in Bedford County jail on Wednesday with a $200,000 bail.
