Wayne Drash is an award winning author based in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently is a senior enterprise writer for CNN Digital's Health team. ^[1]

Drash graduated from Washington University, St. Louis with a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature. He went on to attend the University of Iowa, receiving a Master of Arts in journalism.

Drash was named the top online writer in 2015 by the National Headliners and was presented with the Atlanta Press Club's Award of Excellence for digital reporting in 2014. His first book, On These Courts, an inspirational story of a former NBA all-star's devotion to at-risk youth, received a Christopher Award in 2014 for capturing the best of the human spirit. ^[1]
