Career
Waylynn has always had a passion for the culinary arts and opened up her first restaurant when she was living in Costa Rica. She sold it and moved to California where she spent some time as a pastry chef at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills and as the patisserie at The Bazaar by José Andrés. She has also been executive pastry chef of Patina. During her time in Los Angeles, Lucas received two 4 star reviews. [10]
In 2013 she broke into the entertainment world, first being featured on "Eat. Drink. Love." and later advising CNBC's "Restaurant Startup". She is a judge on "Cake Wars" and has written a cookbook called "Sunny Side Up". She is the founder and pastry chef at Fonuts.[10][2][11]
