WAV3POP is an American genre defying Music Recording duo composed of LANTA WAV3 and GR3Y WAV3S based in Los Angeles, California. [1] Their first release, MADE IT OUT ALIVE, was released in 2018. WAV3POP are currently working on releasing their second project.

As solo music artists based in Los Angeles, LANTA WAV3 and GR3Y WAV3S, arrived on the same week and lived in the same neighborhood without ever knowing of each other. LANTA hails from Atlanta and GR3Y from Houston. Eventually the two artists would go on to meet one day after meeting at the same gym they each attended and the two hit it off. LANTA invited GR3Y to his pad for a get together and the two began to freestyle for hours over beats produced by LANTA.
The two would go on to perform at several venues, one of them being several Coachella after parties. At Coachella, the duo began to make a presence due to an energized live set performed in front of several celebrities and known artists in the music industry.

In 2016, the duo released their first collaborative song, "Crash and Burn".
The duo sat on a balcony as infamous YouTuber, King Bach, casually walked by and asked if either of them had any condoms as he was working on a video project in the neighborhood with several other viral stars. GR3Y threw a new pack of condoms he had just purchased to Bach who was elated. At that moment, Bach asked about the duo and what they do, and once they told him they were musicians, he wanted to listen, along with the rest of the crew. LANTA WAV3 and GR3Y WAV3S had only just recorded and mastered their first song, "Crash and Burn", and decided to blast out in the open. The duo tore it up in the neighborhood to the jubilation of Bach and his other viral star friends.

MADE IT OUT ALIVE
On June 8th, 2018, WAV3POP released their first full-length project, titled: MADE IT OUT ALIVE. The album was self-produced and independently released by LANTA WAV3 and GR3Y WAV3S.
