Bernie Sanders (Politician) was greeted by over 50 thousand of his supporters at a scheduled rally in Washington Square Park in New York, New York. Thousands crowded into overflow areas and streets.
Vampire Weekend, Spike Lee, Rosario Dawson, Linda Sarsour, Shailene Woodley, Tim Robbins, and Graham Nash opened for Vermont’s U.S. Senator at Washington Square Park, where Sanders spoke to a record breaking 40 thousand people, breaking Barack Obama's record back in 2007.
