Early Life

Warhol grew up on the southeast side of Chicago to an artistic family.
His mother was a fashion designer while his grandfather was a painter.
His parents listened to Lords of the Underground, Erykah Badu, Nas, Jay Z and MF Doom. Warhol moved around in his youth and lived with his father in Minneapolis for a short period. When he was a freshman in high school, Warhol's hustle was selling shoes. [undefined] He was pushing Xanax in high school. Warhol spent a year and a half in Atlanta and graduated high school there. After, he moved back to Chicago and combined the sounds of Atlanta and Chicago to create his distinct brand of music.
Music Career
What sparked Warhol to embark on a career in hip-hop was seeing Joey Badass and Pro Era on the come up when he was 16. [undefined] Warhol.ss chose his moniker after Andy Warhol and tries to model his career after him. Andy Warhol refused to let people compartmentalize and define him and Warhol is attempting to take the same approach. [1] The ss has a double meaning; first, it started out as a joke standing for no shitting then evolved to symbolize his love of cars. [undefined]
Warhol's came to prominence with his song Speed Racer. The music video for the song, directed by Cole Bennett, has over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
