Waliyha Azad Malik (born July 23, 1998) is a British entrepreneur and make-up artist. She is the younger sister of singer and songwriter Zayn Malik, a former member of the popular boy band, One Direction.

Waliyha was born on July 23, 1998, in Bradford, England, to Yaser and Trisha Malik. Her father was a Pakistan born immigrant who moved to England and her mother is part English and part Irish. She has 2 older sibilings; Doniya Malik and Zayn Malik and a younger sister, Safaa Malik Tiser, mother of baby model, Zaneyah Malik Tiser. Waliyha alongside others were raised in a working-class family, living in the neighbourhood of East Bowling, South Bradford.

She attended the Tong High School in Bradford, the same school Zayn and others attended. After high school she enrolled at a college to study Childcare.

Waliyha is a massive fan of Canadian singer, Justin Bieber and her favourite of Zayn's song is Pillowtalk from his 2016 album Mind of Mine. She is also an animal lover, having her own cat and a dog she cares for.

In early 2016, Waliyha, her mother, Doniya set up a beauty salon, Waliyha Beauty, in Bradford to provide the women of the city access to trendy hairstyles, nails, make-up, and lashes.

The business venture was a success making Waliyha and Doniya to also establish a beauty product line called Doniya Beauty.

Popular for their professionalism in cosmetics on social media, the sisters dream of having their own beauty business came to reality.

She has guest-starred in the music video for the track, Story of My Life, which was released in 2013 as part of One Direction’s album, Midnight Memories’. She appeared as a member of Zayn’s family alongside relatives of other members of the group.

Waliya is highly supportive of her brother’s music career and she is positive about a prominent future in her beauty business.

She is an active user on social media with counts of almost 700,000 followers on Instagram.
