Vivian Gonzalez (Meteorologist) (born 23rd of march,1983) is a TV broadcaster and also the morning meteorologist for WSVN. A native of Miami, Florida, she is also a member of the National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society.^[1]

Vivian grew up in Miami with her twin sister Lilian Gonzalez.

She has been passionate about weather from her childhood and used to imitate weather presenters on TV, and practice at the beach on Summer Vacations.

Gonzalez attended the Monsignor Edward Pace High School. After her completion of high school, she enrolled in the Florida International University majoring in Geography and minoring in Mathematics and Spanish.

After Vivian’s graduation in 2005, she enrolled in the Mississippi State University’s Distance Learning Broadcast Meteorology Program. She got her certificate in Meteorology and later graduated with a Bachelors in Meteorology.^[6]

Vivian Gonzalez (Meteorologist) started her career at Telemundo 51 as an intern during her final year in the university. After her graduation, she began her TV career in 2005 and joined 7News as a weather producer. She loved her job, and she was enjoying her work. Her channel producer loved her personality and work.

As a weather Producer in the midst of the most active hurricane season on record, thirty-one systems were spawned that year with Hurricane Wilma and Hurricane Katrina impacting South Florida directly. Her Geography background was extremely valuable in helping to track everything mother nature threw our way.

Due to her hard work, she was quickly promoted to Weather Anchor in 2007 for “Today In Florida” Saturday Edition.

It is her commitment and passion to keep you aware of South Florida’s fast changing weather patterns that makes her a great team member.

Vivian is a proud member of both The National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society.^[4]

She also teaches children about math and science.

Make-A-Wish Foundation is one of her favorite charity.
