Viola Beach is a British indie pop group that formed in Warrington in 2015.

The band consisted of Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe, and Jack Dakin.

The entire band and their manager died when they drove off a closed bridge in Södertälje, Sweden, in February 2016.

Viola Beach is best known for their single "Swings and Waterslides," which was added to the BBC Radio playlist in September 2015. [undefined]

Before their death, Viola Beach played at the Where's the Music?

festival in Norrköping the previous day.

They were also scheduled to playat a Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, in March 2016.

Viola Beach had only released two singles before their death, "Swings and Waterslides" (2015) and "Boys That Sing" (2016)
