Vinoth Babu (born 11th June 1990) is an Indian Actor who predominantly works in Tamil Films and TV Industry. He is best known for Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 8 and Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum (2019).^[1]

Vinoth was born and brought up in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He completed Government High School, Tiruchirappalli. He studied at the Thiyagarajar School of Management, Madurai and graduated from Kalasalingam University, Srivilliputtur.^[2]

Vinoth started his career as a VJ on Adithya TV at 2014. He became popular and soon he made his acting debut in the comedy series, "Kollywood Sambrathayam" which was televised Adithya TV as well. He continued working in TV series and appeared in popular series like Sivagami (TV series) (2018) which aired on Colors Tamil. It was directed by Amarsingh. He acted with well known actresses like Nivisha, Egavalli, Nilani, Subalakshmi Rangan, Sahana Shetty and Jeevitha. He participated in the stand up comedy Reality television show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 8 and reached the finals.^[undefined] He made his big screen debut in the Kollywood movie, "Maratha Samugam" directed by Pankaj S Balaji. He acted in TV series "Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum" in 2019 which was aired on Star Vijay.^[12][2]
