Vincent Harrison was an American police officer serving the 100th precinct in Queens, New York. He was a graduate of Beach Channel High School.
Harrison graduated the Police Academy in the summer of 2014.
He lived in Valley Stream, Long Island.
On February 28 2016, he tragically lost his life on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Harrison died in a hit-and-run collision after he pulled onto the shoulder of the New Jersey Turnpike following an earlier collision he was involved in.
The driver who hit Harrison is William Espinal-Mejia, 35.
Authorities say Harrison had drawn his gun on Espinal-Mejia when Espinal-Mejia ran him over and had threatened him.
