Vincent Barbee was a student attending Redondo Union High School. [1]

Personal Life & Education

Barbee is the son of former Redondo Beach City Council member Martha Barbee. [1] He was a U.S. Navy Sea Cadet and freshman at RUHS. [1]

Death

On Monday March 5, 2018, Barbee fell to his death from the balcony of the family’s beachfront three-story balcony in the 500 block of the Esplanade.

He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the fall.

An investigation is underway into the events leading up to his death to determine whether it occurred as a result of suicide or an accident. [1]
