Vik Chawla is an American investor known for being a Principal at Fifth Wall Ventures in Los Angeles. [1]

Biography

Born to an Indian family in the area of Blackhawk, he is a first-generation American who grew up in Danville, California. His mother is Jou Jou, one of the top realtors for J.Rockcliff. And, his father is Piri, a retiree of Xerox International Partners as the CFO.

Vik Chawla is an alum of The College Preparatory School in Oakland. [1]

Chawla graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Pennsylvania at Wharton School where he received his BS in Economics. He co-founded the Kairos Society. [1]

Career

He started his career at Blackstone Group as an analyst.

He would later be the Senior Advisor at Humin to the CEO, and also their CFO.

One of their acquisitions was Tinder. [1]

He was formerly the Investment Professional and Head of Fundamental Diligence at Echelon Asset Management.

He is currently a Principal at Fifth Wall, a VC fund located in Venice, California.

Personal Life

Vik has been a great asset to his mother's business as a realtor who helps with the latest technological tools.

He has lived in New York earlier in his career, and now lives in Los Angeles.
