Life and Activities

DeKay attended Salado High School and was a senior student. [undefined] She was heavily involved in her school's campus community and was nominated for Homecoming queen this past fall. [undefined] An athlete, DeKay was a leader on her school's volleyball squad. [undefined] She nominated for the Second Team All-District Volleyball Team as well as earned the title of Offensive MVP. [undefined] [undefined] Off the court, DeKay was a member of the Salado Youth Leadership Club and ASTRA. [undefined]
On the cusp of graduating high school, DeKay intended to go to Texas State University to study speech pathology. [undefined] Victoria is remembered for her contagious smile and kindness towards others. [undefined]
Death
On the evening of April 17th, Victoria was traveling on Highway 183-A tollway in Cedar Park when her vehicle collided with a concrete barrier and rolled over.
