Victoria Anastasi is an aspiring American actress popularly known for her role as recurring Francis Staffer extra on the new Netflix series "@House of Cards".
Early Life
Victoria Anastasi was first inspired by her mother, who was an actress in her younger years. She always had a fascination for film and television, and wanted to be on the TV screen that she had spent so many hours in front of throughout her early years. [8][9]
Education
Victoria graduated Towson University with a degree in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, she continued to act in theatre productions throughout her journey, while also diving into the film industry in the MD, DC, VA, and PA area.[8]
After graduation, Victoria trained at numerous acting studios in the Southeast such as Mornell Studio, under the incomparable Sara Mornell, Catapult Acting Studios with Jennifer Riker, and In-Studio with the talented Drew Matthews and Jennifer Leigh Mann.
Career
In High School, Victoria auditioned for what she didn't know would be her first ever acting role.
She fell in love with acting just as she had hoped she would when she was a young dreamer.
Since then, she auditioned for every show in her high school, and was cast in every single straight play, musical, and one act.
Victoria also participated in a few straight plays at the local community theater, Port Tobacco Players.
Some of her favorite roles include: Emily, from Our Town; Roxie, from Chicago; Margot Frank from The Diary of Anne Frank; and Rachel, from Reckless.
Victoria also has a passion for singing, song writing, playing the guitar, modeling, and photography.
Movie Roles
Victoria has gotten involved with film industry.
Her first film was a recurring Francis Staffer extra on the new Netflix series "House of Cards," starring Kevin Spacey. [8]
Once she stepped on set, she knew that she was in the right field and she loved it.
She has also worked on the HBO series, "Veep," she had a speaking role in an industrial film with the FDA, and she has done a few other industrial commercials and films.
She also appeared as Melanie in American cop action comedy "Stuber".
