Victoria Ales has worked as a Barista at a Starbucks in Uncasville, Connecticut since October 2016, according to her Facebook profile. She also worked as a cashier at Walmart for a month in March 2016.

On Monday, July 23, 2018, Victoria Ales was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Plainfield Police said they became aware of the possible relationship with the 14-year-old boy in May 2018. ^[1]

Police learned that over the course of several months, Ales was engaged in a sexual relationship with the boy which took place in both Plainfield, Connecticut and Norwich, Connecticut. A warrant was then secured for her arrest. ^[1]

Ales then turned herself in to police and was held on a $150,000 cash or surety bond. ^[1]

Court documents said when police questioned the 22-year-old woman about having sex with the boy, "Ales said she couldn't explain it - and that it just ‘kinda happened’.”
