Murder of Her Son and Conviction
Panarello murdered her 8-year-old son, Luis Stival, when he discovered she was having an affair with his grandfather, Panarello's father in law.
She choked her son with electrical cables and left his body in Santa Croce di Roccaromana. Police suspected she was the perpetrator when her story did not match the CCTV tapes of her dropping him off at school then picking him up after. She was found guilty of the boy's murder and of concealing a body and sentenced to 30 years in prison. [1]
