Missing
On January 9th, 2017, Venus was reported missing after her mother contact an officer at her high school in Annandale.
The officer had reached out to Venus, but she was gone.
She reunited with her family after a couple of days.
On January 15th, 2017, Venus was reported missing again and has been missing for about a month.
Reports said that she left with a stuffed black and red backpack full of clothes.
On February 14th, 2017, the police reported that Venus' life is endangered.
Their investigation indicates that she might be consorting with gang members who have her under their control.
Police officers found two other teenage girls who had contact with the gang members.
They were both reported missing.
One girl returned to her family and the other was found dead.
Venus knew the girl that was found dead.
Romero Iraheta stands 5-foot-1, weighs 115 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
She has tattoos on her left wrist and on her back.
She was wearing a flowered shirt and green pants when she was last seen.
Murder Conviction
Venus Romero Iraheta pleaded guilty to the murder in Fairfax County, Virginia on Monday, one year after brutally stabbing Damaris Reyes Rivas 13 times. [1]
Romero has been charged with the murder of Damaris Reyes Rivas, age 15.
Romero admitted to torturing and murdering a 15-year-old girl who she believed had killed her boyfriend.
Fellow MS-13 gangsters recorded Rivas being tortured, having her tattoo cut off and stabbed to death by Iraheta, and then sent it to gang leaders in El Salvador. [1]
Iraheta, then 17, explains how she took Reyes Rivas to a wooded area at Lake Accotink Park with nine other people before torturing and murdering her.
She said she killed the girl to avenge the murder of her boyfriend, Christian Sosa Rivas.
In her confession, she told interrogators she said to the girl: 'Don't forget my name.
And I told her my full name and I told her my nickname.' prior to killing Damaris.
