Vanessa Beeley (born 17 June 1964) is an independent, British researcher, photographer, writer, journalist and rights activist based in France. [1] She is 100% self-financed and known for her uninfluenced articles on the Syrian Civil War. [1]
Beeley is Associate Editor of 21st Century Wire ** and has made numerous visits to Palestine and Syria, including in the Gaza Strip. [1] Beeley started the website and Facebook group The Wall Will Fall to publish articles and photographs about Gaza. [1] She was a finalist for the Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism 2017, whose previous winners have included Robert Parry and Robert Fisk. [1]
Vanessa Beeley is clear that Syria's White Helmets, funded by the United States, Britain and others to the tune of $100 million, are nothing but terrorists. She accuses the White Helmets of stealing ambulances and fire engines, and even killing Syria's real Civil Defence officials.
