Vaishnavi Rao (born April 6, 1990) is an Indian Actress,Model and social media personality who works in Hindi Television & web series. She is best known for Harmless (2018), Pranali: The Tradition (2008) and Hey Prabhu! (2019). ^[1]

Vaishnavi was born on April 6,1995 in Pune,Maharashtra, India. She completed schooling from St. Helena's School in Pune. She is graduated with a bachelors degree in Psychology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. ^[2]

Vaishani worked as a child artist at the age of 7yrs.

She made her acting debut in the Bollywood movie Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003. She worked in TV Series, 'Hoomba' in 2004. She also acted in drama film, Pranali: The Tradition in 2008, soap opera Bhagyavidhaata in 2009 and Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage in 2012. She took a break from acting career to complete her education. She returned in 2018 and made a comeback with the character of 'Tanya' in the TV series Rishton Ka Chakravyuh (2017-18). She also appeared on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in the same year. ^[13] She became famous for her acting in Adventure short film, Harmless in 2018.^[10] It was displayed in many film festivals across the world. In 2019, she appeared as 'Ira' in Original web series, Hey Prabhu! ^[12].^[3]
