On October 20, 2020 unstoppable domains announced via twitter that now twitter handles can be verified on.crypto domains using Chainlink technology.

This is another big steps in simplifying cryptocurrency payments as senders have additional confirmation that they are sending crypto to the right address/person/ wallet as they can see twitter handle attached to receivers domain identity.
