On Thursday, January 18, 2018 Crawford died after being shot and crashing into a home in South Bend. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [1]} Authorities responded to the area at around 8:00 p.m. local time after receiving a shots fired call. Officers found a on its side next to a house at Twyckenham Drive and Hildreth Street. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [1]}

Crawford was found in the car unconscious and began performing CPR. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [1]} Investigators found bullet holes in the car and shell casings nearby. ^{[undefined] [undefined] [1]}
