Tyler Levy was a 16-year-old student who attended Northshore High School. He originally hails from Slidell, Louisiana. ^[3]

Tyler was a student athlete, participating on his school's cross-country and swimming teams.

Tyler was an extremely caring individual, who always his twin brother, Todd's, back.

In addition, he had a Beagle named Bagel that he looked after like it was his son. Tyler's mother described him as a best friend a person could have. ^[2]

On December 20th at around 3:00 pm, Tyler and 3 other students were driving on La. 433 in a 2016 Hyundai Accent when their vehicle veered into Salt Bayou, flipped over, and became submerged in the water. Tyler was in the back of the car wearing a seatbelt. Rescuers retrieved Tyler from the vehicle and airlifted him to a local hospital. He passed away the following morning. ^[3]
