Trump Rally Cancelled in Chicago (March 11, 2016)
An event that occurred on March 11, 2016 in which Republican presidential front runner Donald Trump was forced to cancel his appearance at a scheduled rally at University of Illinois at Chicago's Pavillion.
As skirmishes and fights began to break out between protestors and supporters, law enforcement suggested that the rally be postponed or canceled for everyone's safety.
Donald Trump spoke with police and decided to postpone the event.
There were over 1000 protestors who stopped Donald Trump from giving a talk to supporters over concerns of violence breaking out. Many of the protesters were UIC students.
Protestors got on stage and had to be carried off and fights broke out both inside and outside the pavilion.
On the same day a rally in St. Louis, Missouri saw over 30 people arrested and Anthony Cage left bloodied by Donald Trump supporters.
