Education
Garg attended the University of California, Berkeley and warned several scholarships including the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship (highest award in UC system, top <1%), Alumni Leadership Scholarship (all 4 years), Edward Frank Kraft Scholarship, and the Berkeley-UCSF LEADS Fellowship. He graduated Magna cum laude in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in biostatistics. Career
Garg was a Research Associate at UCSF Medical Center where he investigated the expression and activation of Death Receptors and autophagy in Hematopoietic Stem Cells. [1] While there, he authored publications in Nature, Blood, and Cell Stem Cell. [1] Garg was an Advisor at AgileMD, a Rock Health and Y-combinator backed start-up that delivers a web and mobile application to provide clinicians fast access to guidelines, protocols, and reference information. [1] Garg has served as Co-Chair of the Quality, Saftey, and Value Committee at AcademyHealth. [1] As a Strategy/Operations/Research Associate at Stanford Health Care, Garg published 15 papers, authored 3 research grants, and gave 26 national presentations.
