Tribe Mafia (Establihed in 2010) is an American hip-hop duo, is comprised of two talented individuals, Chinasa Broxton and Carlos Moore. Based out of Austin, TX, these “Hometown Heroes” hardly ever have a chance to stay home anymore. Tribe Mafia has had the opportunity to tour across the world to perform with rap legend Akon, land hit songs “Like Cola” on public radio and collaborate with a plethora of other well-known, emerging artists.

Tribe Mafia is well-known for making public appearances at local events and for their creative, high-energy performances they bring to each show.

In addition to their amazing performances, Tribe Mafia is best known in the greater Austin hip-hop community for their quarterly “Tribe Mafia Listening Party”.

The group started the production of their “Listening Parties” to help build a platform for other upcoming artists to showcase their talent and network with individuals with a common interest in music.

Among other accomplishments, Tribe Mafia has competed and won in renowned competitions, such as “Coast 2 Coast”, the world's largest indie artist showcase.

Shortly after this event, they received a distribution deal with Sony’s The Orchard on the behalf of Indie Nation.

Tribe Mafia started their musical career in Austin, Texas.

The hip hop duo went from recording their songs in the bathroom of their high school to international touring.

The group's blend of contemporary rap styles came to life on their 2020 project Teepee Gang.

Tribe Mafia was formed by friends Chinasa Broxton and Carlos Moore in 2010 when they were still in high school.

Growing up in Austin, Texas, the two aspiring artists were influenced by their city's nonstop musical energy, and experimented with a wide variety of approaches as they found their creative voice.

Tribe Mafia was highly active in their hometown for years, collaborating with other Austin artists, performing at the annual South by Southwest music festivals and hosting their own listening parties that offered local creative talents to meet and build a community.

After releasing multiple one-off tracks and singles, they released a six-song EP For You in 2017, a brief example of their blend of cloud rap production, R&B-tinged hip-hop, and understated trap beats.

They explored harder instrumentals and more forceful rap styles on 2018 EP The Come Up.

In 2019, Tribe Mafia released "Like Cola," a collaborative single off of their " It's a Tribe Tings" EP.

The song brought together Tribe Mafia's diverse rap styles with a dancehall flare and, along with significant airplay, the song's video was viewed over one million times.

That year the duo also traveled to Brazil on tour with Akon.

In March of 2020 their most fully formed release materialized with the eight-song mixtape Tee Pee Gang.

The project was a step even further away from the subdued style of earlier albums, with high-energy rap flows, solid beats, and tighter production than ever before.

Tee Pee Gang featured guest performances on some songs by Sam Sage, RJ Maine, LeekThough and others.

Dashawn Daniele born Carlos Moore November 26, 1995 is from Austin Texas.

The American rapper, Dashawn Daniels known for his underground, cult following in the hip hop duo Tribe Mafia.

He released his first LP with Tribe Mafia, Teepee Gang, in March 2020 and known by the following names "Carlos Moore, Dashawn Daniels and Y-Los."

Dashawn Daniels was raised in Oklahoma just like his younger brother/former group members Deante'.

After noticing that the last two groups work ethic wasn't up to Carlos's paradigms, he kindly discontinued services with past members.
