Trey Frederick (Born on March 24, 1997 in Beaumont, TX) is a high school student who attended West Brook Senior High School before transferring and graduating from Hamshire-Fannett High School.

On January 11, 2016, Frederick broke federal law by violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, he killed two Whooping Cranes, an endangered species with only 600 remaining worldwide.

Attorney John M. Bales announced that Frederick had been arrested for federal violations.
If convicted, Frederick faces up six months in federal prison and a fine of up to $15,000.
Frederick has also been extremely apologetic on twitter, writing that he had messed up "big time" and was praying for a miracle.
However, Trey re-tweeted a very controversial tweet regarding abortion: 'It's sad when you can kill your own baby (have an abortion) but you kill a goddamn bird you going to jail."
