Trenchmobb

Trenchmobb

Trenchmobb is a young group of rapper from the north side of Chicago. The group consist of multiple talents but is lead by JR007, TMB Spazz, Lil Jay Doe, and Bankroll Batman. Their music is reminiscent of the Drill scene popular in the city, but with a bold step in a new direction.[1]

Early Life

Trenchmobb is Windy city’s most promising rap crew led by Sosa Corleone and JR007.

The whole city of Chicago has been buzzing about a brand new rap group that’s quickly made their mark on the local music scene. The group started when JR007 met Sosa through Sosa’s little brother and the two clicked over music immediately, the click got bigger and more rappers like TMB Spazz joined the ranks. The name was thought of by Sosa Corleone, the initials correlate to two separate clicks, Tony Mobb (in memory of a close friend of Sosa’s) and Terror Money which is a click associated with JR007. [5]

Career

The young group first made waves with their very first release Take Off, a video they released on YouTube in February of 2017. They continued to attack the internet with a wave of videos starting with Be Home Soon, All Types, Rollin, and 2 of Everything which really garnered them attention from the music industry.

After dropping their debut full length mixtape “Be Home Soon” ( available on all streaming services) Trenchmobb released another set of visuals just ahead of the mixtapes release. The videos Mona Lisa and Zooted (Exclusive Worldstar releases) as well as Trifecta (shot by Laka films) though popular as they were, did not release on the project.

Trenchmobb’s first official mixtape release “Be Home Soon”, came packed with a whole slew of unheard songs accompanied by a couple of familiar classics. The group’s debut project released Memorial Day weekend 2018. The excited group also released another visual “One Of A Kind” before the end of 2018. The video is directed by Diamond Visuals, a well known music video director. JR007’s melodic flows mesh well with fellow group member Spazz, making this record a certified hit.

The group releases new single “Look at me”, Trenchmobb started 2019 off with a bang releasing their first single Caught Up In My Sins, off their upcoming second project. Followed by a JR007 and El Hitta collaboration the released-on world-star.[6][1][7][8]

With multiple video premieres on Worldstarhiphop including Coming Home (259MM views), Zooted (1.2MM views), and their massive hit Mona Lisa (1.9MM views), Trenchmobb shows no signs of slowing down. While Trenchmobb is currently tearing up the stages in Atlanta as a featured act in the A3C Festival Showcase, they took the time to tell Vydia more about their journey from the streets of Chicago to the stars of Worldstarhiphop and the secret behind their rapid rise to success.

Social Media

Trenchmobb has a YouTube channel with 45.6k subscribers and about 13.9 million views. The group also have 13,693 followers and 27.9k followers on Facebook and Instagram respectively.[2][3][4]
