TraeDakidd (born April 17, 1999) is a rapper and also a native of Boston, Massachusetts.[1] His birth name is Leatrae J. Gooding. He is an African American musician and also an actor. TraeDakidd has made ties with Rick Ross, Meek Mill.
Early Life
TraeDakidd, born Leatrae J. Gooding, was birthed and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He was raised by a single mother in the south end of Boston with his two younger brothers.
Growing up without a father, was real hard.
Seeing all the kids with their dads and I ain't have mine just made me even want to get it.
My dad was in the joint doing 10 years for that bread.
At the age of 5, his father was sent to Federal prison for 10 years. Trae learnt how to hustle and be the breadwinner for his household. When he turned 13 he'd already been selling his CDs on the streets bringing in hundreds of dollars a day, which would help his family. He graduated high school in 2015 as a theater major, at the Boston Arts Academy.
At the age of 6 he knew that he was destined for something greater.
He knew he wanted to be an artist.
He started by recording songs on his radio cassette.
Trae has started to build a fanbase off his major single “i'm so hot” which is all over the internet.
Trae doesn't just believe in recording a record, he believes in bringing the record to life.[4]

Music Career
Boston rapper Traedakidd garnered national attention when social media sensation, LA Truth, posted his “I'm so hot” video on his Facebook that ultimately went viral. Since then, his “I'm so hot” music video has skyrocketed to over 2 Million views on the internet.
In August of 2016, Trae recorded his first official song with rapper Rich The Kid of Quality control and Bay Swag of CYN, Pdiddy son friend. The song was titled “Wraith”. The success of the song lead to Trae opening up for Rick Ross in Boston. Which led to his being co - signed by Major superstar Rick ross after which he was then given the opportunity to sign with Nitt da gritt the ceo of RGF Productions.
Over the past year, Trae has also released many songs together, including “Diamonds,” with over 300k plays on Soundcloud “Hold you down,” and his freestyle“flick of the wrist” which was featured on Say cheese TV. Which hit 80k plays on soundcloud the same day it premiered. [7]
Trae released another EP, Rich Yung Fly Nigga, which is entirely produced by producer LJG (Leatrae Jirous Gooding).
The project tells the story of his life- living a regular life in the past, to earning lots of money, finding fake friends who he thought were real friends to the end, having a major anxiety, and also leading to where he is in and heading in life today.[6]
Acting Career
As an actor, he has performed on stage in high school productions of Romeo and Juliet and Topdog/Underdog.
He was also awarded the Certificate of excellence for Outstanding acting at the Emerson College Festival.[5]
