Tracy Wanjiru is a Kenyan Television presenter. ^[7]She is from Nairobi, Kenya. ^[8]

Tracy was born and raised in Kenya and is of Kikuyu and Korean descent. She considers herself most connected with her Kikuyu heritage. She grew up in the Zimmerman section of Nairobi where she described herself a Tomboy. ^[11]

Tracy attended university to study law.

She received an opportunity to audition for a television program and ended up earning the part.

Since then, Tracy dropped out of school after one year-ish to pursue a career in broadcast journalism full-time.
