Thomas Scibelli, better known asTommy Smokes, is a blogger and contributor at Barstool Sports. He is based in New York City. Tommy rose in prominence when he appeared on Fox News' The Ingraham Angle advocating for vaping while sporting a "Vape God" hat and indulging in his Juul on the program. The troll by Tommy made national headlines and was later parodied by Pete Davidson on Saturday Night Live.

Early in his career, Tommy was an Intern for SPORTS195 and was a Writer for the SB Nation Yankee blog, Pinstripe Alley.

For four years, Tommy worked at Fordham's public radio station WFUV 90.7 FM where he was the Assistant Sports Manager.

In addition, Tommy was the play-by-play broadcaster for Fordham Athletics during his time attending school.

Tommy started at Barstool Sports as their Social Media Intern in 2016. During the 2018 NCAA basketball tournament, he called games during live broadcast feeds alongside Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who credited him as being his lucky gambling charm. Tommy joined Barstool Sports full-time in June 2018 and contributes to Barstool Radio and The Rundown as well as authors blog posts for the platform.

In November 2018, Tommy appeared on The Ingraham Angle hosted by Laura Ingraham to debate the topic of vaping by millenials. He appeared on the program wearing a "Vape God" hat and went on to troll Ingraham and her guest while blowing "fat clouds." The segment made headlines across the United States and was later parodied byPete Davidson on Saturday Night Live.

Tommy is a graduate of Floral Park Memorial High School. He attended Fordham University where he earned a degree in economics in 2018.
