Tom Swearengen was a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. He was married to Margaret Swearengen.

On February 19, 2017, Tom and his wife were found deceased from an apparent murder-suicide at their home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Investigators believe Tom shot and killed his wife, Margaret, then turned the gun on himself.

Police were called to the home on Thrushcross Cove just before 4 a.m. A neighbor who found the bodies told authorities they could have been there for days.

The neighbor also told authorities that the couple had marital problems.
