Hurricane Harvey
The Periscope video of Todd M. Bryant going on a racist rant.
The second part of the racist rant that Todd M. Bryant goes into, this time he incites a race war.
As Hurricane Harvey intensified throughout the area of Houston, Todd made his way to the city to help save people from the flood.
On August 29th, 2017, Todd took to his Periscope to express his concerns about the flood in many Houston neighborhoods. Essentially, Todd claims that Black people
are not doing their part in helping save other people from the flood, and that whites are the ones who have been doing all the work.
"Am I allowed to criticize Black people?
I've been called a racist left and right.
Am I allowed to criticize black people for not showing doing their citizen duties to protect their fellow citizens during at a time of crisis?
Ask me the serious question brother... how many white Cajuns are running down the water picking up black kids?
If somebody is on the fence, and somebody else that wants to have my courage or my convictions, and wants to add their voice to my voice - maybe they'll lose the fucking power to be able to dominate us and get our fucking jobs taken away form us for speaking the fucking truth...
The videos I've seen, for every black person who's helping, there's tons of more white people helping..."[0]
He goes to make responses to commenters who call him out on his racist commentary, but he counters them by asking for more than anecdotal evidence of black people being active in saving others during Hurricane Harvey. [2]
