Timothy Keith Moore is a resident of Bakersfield, California. In early June 2020, Moore allegedly ran over a protestor, Robert Forbes, during a George Floyd protest in Bakersfield. Forbes died three days later from his injuries. ^{[2] [3]}

On June 3, 2020, Robert Forbes, was on California Avenue and Oak Street when he was struck by Moore.

The incident was caught on video and shared widely on social media. ^[1] Forbes was brought to Kern Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition for three days. He died on the morning of June 6, 2020. ^[3]

Moore was interviewed by responding authorities, and there was no evidence of impairment at the time of the collision.

Bakersfield Police is still investigating and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.

In a since deleted Facebook post, Moore, who says he was the driver in that crash, said he did not intentionally run over Forbes with his car. ^[2]

In the post, he says he was not aware a protest was going on at the time.

He says he wanted to check up on Forbes in the hospital but was told not to thinking it would put his family in danger.
