He founded Pluto Money with Susie Kim upon graduating from UCLA with a B.S. in Cognitive science. They began to ideate solutions as part of the Startup UCLA Summer Accelerator Class of 2015. In Spring 2016, they were selected to participate in the Queen City FinTech Incubator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In October 2016, they brought on Dante Monaldo as their technical cofounder & CTO. In October 2017, they launched their public beta on the App Store. In September 2018, they were selected to participate in the Barclays Accelerator powered by Techstars in New York City, securing seed funding from Barclays and Techstars. Pluto Money was featured on Apple's "New Apps We Love" in February 2019. They currently operate in San Francisco Bay Area.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, he interned at leading Brain computer interface startup NeuroSky and travel giant Expedia, Inc. as a PM. The BCI-powered neuroscience education software he worked on at NeuroSky was featured at the Consumer Electronics Show and at the Tech Museum of Innovation Beta Jam, a showcase of high tech educational products from across the San Francisco Bay Area.  He also co-led sponsorships for Global Hackathon Seoul, raising over $500,000 for the largest and most diverse global hackathon ever (backed by the United Nations and Seoul Metropolitan Government) that was indefinitely postponed due to health concerns about the Mers outbreak.
Prior to his forays into the tech world, he was a pre-professional violinist. He won numerous state-wide competitions and performed throughout California and Europe as a soloist, chamber musician, and Concertmaster of the internationally-acclaimed El Camino Youth Symphony.
