Thor Skancke
Thor Skancke
Thor Skancke is a professional mixed martial arts fighter and fight sports trainer.
He's also the founder of 101 Boxing Club in Newbury Park, California.
Overview
Thor was an amateur fighter in 2005 when he joined Tarzana Boxing as a member.
In 2007 Thor went pro and also became a trainer so that he could double down on his experience in the ring.
Skancke has studied Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA for over 10 years, but he also counts his verbal acuity as a prized weapon.
Thor got his name from his mother who is Norwegian and credits some of his fighting ability to having to defend an uncommon name.
And the worst thing is, anything you do, people have little jokes now ever since The Avengers became famous: ‘Where’s Captain America ?
How’s the Hulk doing?’ Shut the (expletive) up, dude.
Let me go about my life.
In 2016, Thor won the "King of the Cage" title belt in the Junior Welterweight weight class.
In January 2019 he won his first fight in the Bellator arena against Jesse Merritt with a Monson choke.
As of April 2019, Thor's record is 11-8-1.
