Plot
Fu Hung Hsueh is a lone swordsman with deadly skills and a unique, rotating blade dubbed The Magic Blade.
A powerful weapon, the "Peacock Dart", is being pursued by those intent on using it to achieve ultimate rule over the martial arts world.
Fu Hung Hsueh unites with his rival Yen Nan Fei to attain and protect the Peacock Dart before it can fall into the hands of the villainous Master Yu.

Production and release
The Magic Blade was shot on 35mm color film with a mono audio soundtrack featuring Mandarin dialogue. The Shawscope cinematographic process was used in production and the film's total runtime is 86 minutes. The film premiered on 7 October 1976 in Hong Kong.[2] The box office ticket sales from the film's initial run totaled HK $1,050,149.50.[1]
