The Living Strange is an Indie Rock band founded by Elijah Sokolow and Ben Shafrir.

Elijah (16) is the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist.

He plays four instruments (Guitar, bass, drums and keys), but is most at home on electric guitar.

Elijah has also built his own signature guitar and writes/engineers/produces The Living Strange's original music.

Drummer Ben Shafrir (20) briefly studied at The Berklee School of Music prior to co-founding The Living Strange.

The band is joined by an additional live bassist/keyboard player.

The Living Strange plays a brand of Rock music with digital influence.

The sound is reminiscent of the Arctic Monkeys and Muse with Bob Dylan style lyrics.

Recently, the band has performed at SXSW 2015, self released an EP, and toured the East Coast.

A new music video for "Gillisblu" was released on May 18th.
