Tessa Twala (born in Swaziland) is a South African actress. She captured the heart of viewers after her role as Lexi Thabane in the Mzansi Magic soapie Zabalaza.^[1]

Tessa is a PR assistant who realized that will never receive equal treatment at Slick Vic Media.

Then she proceeded to join a rival company as she journeys to a position of power. The show was introduced on the screens of South African viewers in 2015 as a part of a new storyline. ^[2]

Many know her as the sexy actress and probably among the hottest in the country today. Tessa is more than that and has worked herself to climb the ladder of fame in the industry. She landed her first role as an actress upon going for her first audition for Zabalaza.

Although she did not study any acting related course, Tessa took some classes and lessons on the job.

Her place of birth is in Swaziland but Tessa relocated to the city of Johannesburg when she was 22 years old.

She left for Johannesburg at that age to chase a career in acting. Earlier, at the age of 15, she served as a waitress and has also worked as a bartender and model.^[3]

Tessa has also worked in a bank and also ran some promotions.

On Instagram, she shared that she almost kicked the bucket as a child.

She did not speak the English language not until she became 7 years old and also says that she can’t ride a bicycle.

Tessa is an aunt to four (4) children. ^[4]
