Terry Mango is a resident of Stockholm, Sweden. She hails originally from Nairobi, Kenya. ^[1]She is the mother of Liam Mango, the child who modeled an offensive green sweater by H&M. ^[2]

Mango's son is a model for H & M. In January 2017, he was photographed wearing a sweatshirt that read "coolest monkey in the jungle", prompting outcries of racial injustice.

Mango was dismissive of the controversy.

She wrote on Facebook: “[I] am the mum, and this is one of hundreds of outfits my son has modeled,” she wrote in the comments on the site. “Stop crying wolf all the time, [it’s] an unnecessary issue here. Get over it.” ^[2]
