Early Life and Education
Tejaswini was born and brought up Nashik, Maharashtra, India. She completed her schooling from private school in Nashik. She is graduate of Savitribai Phule Pune University where she obtained a Master of Arts and Masters in Business of film making and television.[2]
Career
Tejaswini made her debut in the Marathi movie Madhu Ithe Choughe Tithe in 2008.[12] She played the character of Tejaswini Sarkar.
She soon received offers from Hindi and Marathi TV series and she made her small screen debut in the Historical Hindi TV series Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur (2009).[13] She rose to fame playing leading character of Rani Padmini/Padmavati. In 2011, she acted in another popular Marathi movie Guldasta. [14] She had the opportunity to work with famous Marathi stars like Jitendra Joshi and Makarand Anaspure. In 2012, she appeared in the Marathi movie called 'Chinu'.[11] She acted opposite another popular actor Sharad Kelkar. She impressed audiences and critics with her performance. She continued working in Marathi films like wanted Bayko no.1(2015) [15] and Bernie (2016) [16].[2][4]
