Career
Daughter of actress Nora Guzman, she got her start on the comedy show Strange. In the 1980's she became known with the play El Precio del Amor (The Price of Love); her participation included a nude scene.[2]
In the 1990s, Guzmán participated in the telenovelas Los de arriba y los de abajo, Los unos y los otros, Lluvia de Arena, Luz María and Isabella, mujer enamorada. In 2000, she appeared in Pobre Diabla and the following year, in Soledad. After finishing the recordings she dedicated herself to the theatre and cinema.
Guzmán returned to television in the comedy Así es la vida at the end of 2005. At the end of 2010, Guzmán, along with 49 other Peruvian artists, was distinguished for her career with the Medal of Lima in a ceremony organized by the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.
In 2011, she had a role in Ana Cristina. On September 15th of the same year, Bolero de noche was released, a Peruvian film directed by Eduardo Mendoza in which Guzmán starred as the "Barona", the owner of a nightclub dedicated to boleros. In 2012, she acted in the mini-series La reina de las carretillas in a role playing the villain of the story.
Other notable roles include an appearance in the 2016 TV series Al Fondo Hay Sitio where she played a villain.
