Taylor P. Lorenz is a Technology reporter with The New York Times. She is also a Research Affiliate at Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. Previously, she was a tech reporter for the Daily Beast where she explored how the use of technology influences people's daily life.[9]

Taylor Lorenz attended University of Colorado Boulder. [9] In 2012, she received her certificate in web development from New York University.
Lorenz was also a 2019 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University where her research focused on Instagram news consumption. She is an affiliate at Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. [9]

Unite the Right
On August 12th, 2017, while covering the protests that took place at the Unite the Right rally and the counter protests that followed, Lorenz was physically assaulted. The perpetrator was charged with battery and assault.
