Taylor Sheats was a resident of Katy, Texas. She graduated high school from Seven Lakes High School. Sheats then attended Lone Star College–CyFair.
Death
On Friday June 24, 2016 at around 5 p.m Christy Byrd Sheats shot her daughters Taylor Sheats and Madison Sheats with a pistol outside their home in Katy, Texas after a family argument.
Police shot and killed Christy after they arrived at the scene and Christy refused to drop her weapon.
Taylor died at the scene and her sister, Madison, was airlifted to the Texas Medical Center, where she couldn’t be saved.
Christy's husband was at the home during the shooting.
He was not injured however he was taken to a nearby hospital becuase he was suffering from emotional distress.
