Taylor Dooley (Actress) is an American actress who has bedan learning the nuances of acting at the age of 9. She is popularly known for her role in the film ‘The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl’. She is also known for her brilliant comic timing and acting skills. Her talent, along with her gorgeous looks, has turned her into one of the most promising young actresses in Hollywood.

She became a part of Phoenix Theatre’s acting troupe and displayed her acting skills while touring along with the troupe. Simultaneously, she was also modelling for various advertising campaigns.

Taylor Dooley was born on February 26, 1993 in Michigan and into a family that had no connection with the entertainment world. She was raised by her parents, John and Debbie, and grew up along with her younger brother, Drew. Taylor grew up with a dream of making it big in show business. Even before she had turned five, her parents helped her to participate in children’s beauty pageants and she ended up winning a few of them. She got familiar with the glitz and glamour associated with show business at a very young age and that fueled her ambition of becoming an actress. Her dominance in the beauty pageants also landed her a modelling contract in her hometown. When her contract came to an end her family moved to Arizona.

At the age of nine, her parents decided to get her trained professionally in acting and dancing, and she was enrolled at Phoenix Theatre. She then became a part of the theatre’s acting troupe and learned the basics of acting, dancing and singing.^[1]

Taylor's first step on her path to stardom began when she was nine and she started studying dance and acting with the Phoenix Theater's Performance Troop.

With the theater group, Taylor's unique personality and dramatic and comedic dexterity were quickly discovered by audiences in and around Phoenix.With

her hard work and dedication, it didn't take long for Hollywood to notice her talent. She quickly landed a national commercial for Famous Footwear, and ads for Disney Superstar Kids, Mary Kate and Ashley clothing line and Honda's Odyssey minivan.

Her deep passion and enthusiasm for acting and performing, plus her willingness to spend long hours in developing a variety of skills, is what has brought her this far in her pursuit for career excellence and prominence.^[2]

Taylor was in a long-term relationship with Justin Cassotta.

The couple started dating in 2010 and they got engaged in 2014 when Taylor was just 21 years old.

Her decision to get engaged at such a young age was deemed thoughtless by many industry experts as they thought it may hamper her career growth.
