Tay Keith (born September 20, 1996) [undefined] is an American music producer. He has produced beats on Travis Scott's Astroworld, Eminem's KamikazeDrake's Scorpion. One of his most notable hits is "Look Alive" (with Drake).

Early Life & Education

Tay Keith was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. His parents separated during his childhood; he lived with his mother but ended up moving with his father during his adolescence.[1] Both his parents used to listen to southern rappers, including fellow Memphis artists Three 6 Mafia, Playa Fly, and 8Ball & MJG.[1]

He attended Hamilton High School.

When he was a teenager, he used to record music with a Rock Band microphone and beats he found on SoundClick. He uploaded his rap songs to YouTube and DatPiff. He started learning how to make beats by watching his older brother recording on Mixcraft. Eventually, he started producing his own beats and uploading them to YouTube. He received money based on the views he received, which incentivized him to focus more on music production.[1]
