Tarun was to make his Bollywood debut with Saajan Ka Dard that was directed by Govind Moonis, who had earlier made Nadiya Ke Paar.

Unfortunately, the film was never released.

Disillusioned with the directors and the roles that he was being offered, Tarun decided to turn director around 1994-95 and since then, he has written and directed a serial called Abhay Charan based on the life of the founder Acharya Srila Prabhupada of Iskon.

Subsequently, he moved to South Africa where he wrote and directed three 90-minute feature films in English with the local talent.

In 2005, Tarun decided to return to India to make movies that he believed in.

But doing so was extremely difficult and therefore he decided to turn producer as well with Kis Hudh Tak.

Tarun has produced, written, and directed the movie, which will release on August 20.
