Tarishi Jain

Tarishi Jain (13 November 1996 - 1 July 2016) was a student at UC Berkeley and an entrepreneur.

Her intended major was economics with a focus in sustainability and altruistic business.

She was a member of EthiCAL, an apparel business which offered micro-loans through Kiva.

She had graduated from an international program in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and was going to be a sophomore at UC Berkeley in the fall of 2016.

Death

On July 1st of 2016, Tarishi was killed in a terrorist attack by ISIS in Bangladesh, India.

It was part of a broader set off attacks in Dhaka.
